Podcast: How to measure the impact of your project

Watch or listen to our Beyond Funding podcast, featuring Grants and Impact Officer, Lisa Friel.

In the second episode of our new podcast series, Beyond Funding, Alice Morris (Host) gains valuable insight on the best ways to measure and share the impact of your project from the Trust’s Grants and Impact Officer, Lisa Friel. This episode covers the importance of impact reporting, how it can help improve your chances of getting funding and how best to tell the stories of the difference your project has made.

This is the second in the new ‘Beyond Funding’ podcast series to come from the team at Benefact Trust, where churches and Christian charities can discuss key social issues, get advice and guidance on applying for funding, as well as hearing from those who have been on the receiving end.

The second Beyond Funding podcast: ‘How to measure the impact of your project – Advice from a funder’ is available on Youtube and Spotify.

A story is really essential, especially from a funder’s perspective. A story goes a lot further than a stat. It has the ability to persuade; it has the ability to lead and inspire people. If you use a good story along with your stats and evidence, it makes for a really compelling application.
